The nearest airport is in Jorhat, Assam which is at 123kms from Ziro.
The nearest railway stations from Ziro are Naharalagun railway station and North Lakhimpur in Arunachal Pradesh at a distance of 100kms and 117kms respectively.
By road, there are two possibilities. One is taking a night bus from Guwahati to Ziro and the other is a road trip towards Ziro which you can easily do by hiring a vehicle from Assam or Arunachal itself or by self vehicle by NH229

The best time to visit Ziro is from October to November that is the autumn season and from March to May that is the spring season. However, the climate of this area is quite pleasant throughout the year.
