Ramakkal in a hill station in kerala, India. It lies in the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and between the most famous tourist attractions such as Thekkady, Munnar, Idukki and many more attractions.Ramakkal gives a very large view of about seven small towns and fields surrounded by mountains in Tamil Nadu. The view point has a statue which is reportedly the tallest in Kerala. Good climate, perfect place to relax. The altitude of Ramakkalmedu is about 3560 feet from the sea level and about 1500 feet from the plain of land adjoining the mountains in Tamil Nadu. It is said that Ramakkalmedu is the largest wind blowing area in Asia. About 12.5 MW of electricity is produced here from wind energy. But the potential of wind blown here is much more than that.
