The nearest railway station is Rangapara railway station in Assam which is 46 km from Bhalukpong.

If you are interested in a road trip then by Nh 37 from Assam crossing the Kaziranga National park would be the best road to go to Bhalumpong because of the breathtaking scenic beauty and animals of Kaziranga national park along with small lakes and rivers.

The months from October to April are the best months to visit this place as the climate is ideal for the tourists of Arunachal pradesh.

An inner line permit is necessary to enter the state of the northeast which is easily available online at around INR 100-400.
