Ludhiana is located on the banks of the Sutlej River and is one of India’s largest development centers. You can take a direct flight to Amritsar or Chandigarh or a stopover from anywhere in India and then fly to Ludhiana by coach or bus.

By Road: Ludhiana is connected by State and private buses with major Punjab cities such as Amritsar, Chandigarh, Pathankot, Jalandhar, and Ambala. Bus services in Ludhiana are convenient and accessible on a daily basis at regular intervals.

By Rail: Daily trains from Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Pathankot, Lucknow, and other major northern Indian cities are run on Ludhiana. As Ludhiana has a train station in its own right, you can easily travel to Ludhiana by train anywhere.

Best time to reach Ludhiana

From October-March in winter it is considered to be the best time to visit Ludhiana. During this time the weather is very good and suitable for outdoor activities. February is the highlight of the month of Ludhiana, as this is the time to see the famous Rural Olympics in the Ludhiana area of Kila Raipur.
