How to reach

The most convenient airport and railway station are Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi international airport and Guwahati railway station located in Guwahati at a distance of about 200km. You can easily hire taxis or cabs to reach Williamnagar. Bus services are also available from Guwahati.

There is also a daily helicopter that is Pawan Hans helicopters Ltd from the airport connecting Shillong and Tura. You can also visit from Shillong by hiring a cab or a taxi or with local transport to reach Williamnagar. Once you reach Tura, then it is very easy to reach Williamnagar as Tura is connected to both Williamnagar and the major cities of Meghalaya and Assam.

Best season to visit the place

October to February is the best time to visit the place. Although the weather is favorable throughout the year. During the pre-winters the skies are clear and the place looks more glorious.
