Bathinda in Punjab

One of Punjab ancient towns, Bathinda were once known as Bhatinda, is known as the hub of history and religion dating back to 7000 BC. But modern Bhatinda was established by Bala Rao Bhatti who was the king of the Bhati Rajput in 965 AD. This is also the city of Guru Hargobindji in 1634, where the Mughals were defeated. Later it followed the former Princess Patiala culture and structures but now it is its district. It offers tourists attraction places such as Qila Mubarak, Bahia Fort, Chetak Park, Zoological Gardens (Zoological Gardens), Dhobhi Bazaar, and the Mazar of Peer Haji Ratten, as well as the fascinating and important history of this area. This city is a decent choice for historical sites and Punjab feelings.

By Air: The nearest airport is Punjab’s Chandigarh International Airport which is 225 km away, Bathinda. 

By Rail: Since the rail connectivity in Bathinda is very broad. The transport of Bathinda between a few cities such as Ludhiana, Amritsar, Faridkot, etc. is also connected by the Patiala and Punjab States Union of the European Union of (PEPSU).

By Road: It has a very well network of connections to the road. The route passes by NH-10 and the road is surprisingly fine, although sometimes traffic is expected between Bhatinda and Delhi. Bathinda has a good link to all the main cities of the nation and one of the largest railway junctions in India.

1. Rose Garden

3. Qila Mubarak

This fortification was previously called Tabar-e-Hind or the Indian Gateway. Qila Mubarak Gurudwara Sahib is a historic site in Bathinda that’s very significant. It is in the center of town. Amongst people who love historical sites, this is a very famous location.
