How to reach
Nohkalikai falls is about 55 km from Shillong. To reach Shillong, the nearest airport from the city is Umroi airport near Barapani which is just 25kms away from Shillong. You can also land at Guwahati airport which is about 125kms away from the city and hire a private car or a taxi to reach Shillong.
The nearest railway station from Shillong is at Guwahati which is about 100km from the city and it takes almost 3hours to reach Shillong from Guwahati railway station.
You can either book a private taxi after reaching Shillong or can hire it from Guwahati itself. Besides that bus transport facility is available from major cities of the northeast to Guwahati and Shillong and other places via Guwahati.
Best season to visit
June to October is the best time to visit the place because of the clear sky and the volume of waterfall due to rain.
